2017 General Meeting Announced

The first Forewomen Golf Association's event of 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, March 25 at Redwood Canyon Golf Course in Castro Valley. This is a great opportunity for you to join your fellow golfers and potential new members (bring an interested guest) to find out about the activities planned for the year. You will be able to enjoy a hosted breakfast followed by an opportunity to meet the board members, hear from committees, and hear a speaker presenting exciting ways to improve your game. There will be time for shopping before and after the meeting as well. At noon you may enjoy a round of casual play of either 9 or 18 holes. 

Please go to the website to RSVP for breakfast and contact the course for a tee time( let them know you are with Forewomen when you make your tee time). The deadline to register is March 14. Registration opens February 14.

2015 General Meeting

2016 Kicks off with the Annual General Meeting

The first meeting of the 2016 year for Fore Women Golf Association is scheduled for March 5 at Los Positas Golf Course in Livermore.  This is a great opportunity for you to join your fellow golfers and potential new members (bring a guest) to find out about the activities we have planned for the year.  You will be able to enjoy a hosted breakfast followed by an opportunity to meet the board members, learn about coming events and hear a speaker presenting exciting ways to improve your game. 

There will be time for shopping before and after the meeting.  At 12:00 you may enjoy a round of golf either at the 9 hole links course or the 18 hole course.  Registration starts at 8:30 followed by breakfast, shopping and golf.  This is a great way to reconnect with your golfing friends.

To sign up you can  go to the website to RSVP for breakfast and sign up for golfing.     Don’t miss out on a great day.  The deadline to register is February 24.  

2015 FWGA General Meeting

The Fore Women Golf Association held the first event of the year on March 28 th at the Las Positas Golf Course in Livermore.  60 members and guest enjoyed the general meeting where they connected with their golfing friends for a great breakfast.  There was time for shopping for new golf wear with spring fashions presented by GG Blues, EP Pro and  Antiqua as well as learning about how to take care of our skin from the Arbonne representative.

Members were introduced to the FWGA board who gave brief reports on upcoming events, clinics,  tournaments and our charity's work.   Our guest speaker for the morning , Craig Lewandoski, PT from Valley Care Medical Center and certified golf fitness trainer, gave an excellent presentation on staying fit for golf.  He gave some easy exercises and techniques for staying in shape which all golfers can use.

Members kicked off the spring golf season by a round of golf at Las Positas playing either the the executive course or 18 hole.  The course was in in good condition and the weather was perfect for golfing.  A fun day of golf always improves spirits and renews friendships for golfing. Registration starts at 8:30 followed by breakfast, shopping and golfing.  At 11:30 you may enjoy a round of fun golf either 9 holes ($20 walking) or 18 holes ($66 with bucket of balls and cart) with your golfing friends.
